Monika Bincsik, Assistant Curator in the Department of Asian Art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and a specialist in Japanese decorative arts, catalogued the collection and wrote the illuminating essays in this beautiful and comprehensive publication, which also includes an introduction by SCMA Director and Louise Ines Doyle '34 Chief Curator Jessica Nicoll The catalog was published in association with an exhibition at SCMA organized by Jane Chace Carroll Curator of Asian Art Yao Wu.
