Shipping Rates and Information

• All orders are shipped USPS unless an expedited shipping method is needed. Expedited shipping may be arranged by calling SCMA Shop and speaking to staff member at 413-585-2796.

• Orders sent to Alaska and Hawaii are shipped USPS Priority Mail; additional fees may apply.

• We can ship anywhere in the world. Shipping fees are based on USPS costs. Flat-rate shipping will not apply to international orders.

• Orders are processed Tuesday through Friday 10–4 EST.

• Please allow 3–10 business days for ground delivery. We will contact you in the event of a significant delay. 
  

• Shipping and handling rates are based on the merchandise total before taxes.

• For orders to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, we add $25 to the standard rates. This amount is added to your order after processing and will not appear in your cart at checkout.

Express Delivery

• Expedited Service (2-3 business days): Contact us by phone or email directly for processing

• Overnight Service (1 business day): Contact us by phone or email directly for processing

• Expedited and overnight orders must be received by 11am EST.

• Add 1 business day to orders received after 11am EST.

• **Please note: Expedited and overnight delivery is available only for orders shipped within the contiguous United States.

Tax on Orders Shipped from The Store Online 

• Applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases being shipped to a Massachusetts address.

Oversize Items

• There are additional shipping and handling charges for oversize items when noted in the product description. Please note that these items are not available for expedited delivery.

International Orders

Most products, with the exception of some oversize items, can be shipped to international addresses.

Because shipping rates vary based on country and weight of package, please contact bhmartin@smith.edu or Bridget Hart Martin at 413-585-2779 to receive a shipping quote. We will email your specific shipping costs within 3 business days of receiving your order. Please reply to the email that you accept these fees. We will not process and ship your order until you accept the fees. If we do not hear from you after 3 email attempts, your order will be canceled. When we receive your acceptance email, we will ship your package the following business day and update your order total for billing.

International and Canadian order recipients are responsible for any customs, duties, taxes or special fees applied upon delivery by the destination country’s local government. If you purchase an International gift order, you will be responsible for all customs, duties and taxes in advance.

If an international order recipient refuses to pay these fees upon the package’s arrival to their country and the package is thus returned to the museum, the original shipping charges will not be refunded and return shipping costs will be charged back to the purchaser’s original method of payment.

The SCMA Shop is not responsible for these fees and does not include them in the original shipping quote, nor does the SCMA Shop pay them once they are incurred.
