Ronni Kappos jewelry is handmade from vintage German glass beads cast in the 1920s, ’30s and ’40s by craftsmen whose meticulous techniques yielded unusual colors and shapes. This particular design evokes a play on an artist’s color wheel.

Kappos’s design approach begins with a passion for her materials. She values their history but also designs with an eye for clean, modern shapes. Variations in the beads’ colors, even slight imperfections, add character to the pieces. Most of Kappos’s jewelry is strung on nylon cord with 14 karat gold–filled findings.
