Dislocation is a potent metaphor for contemporary life.  This is nowhere more true than in the rapid physical expansion and social upheaval that have marked life in Asia in the twenty-first century.

This catalog features work from two exhibitions at SCMA that focused on contemporary photography from Asia. Together the two shows served to inaugurate the new Carol T. Christ Asian Art Gallery, which opened in 2015.
