This multi-author. trilingual (English/Arabic/French) monograph focuses on the work of Younes Rahmoun, a major figure in contemporary art in Morocco. It accompanies three linked solo exhibitions of Rahmoun's work in 2024 and 2025 at Smith College Museum of Art (SCMA), La Kunsthalle Mulhouse (France), and Kulte: Center for Contemporary Art & Editions (Rabat, Morocco).
Co-published by the Smith College Museum of Art and Zamân Books & Curating (Paris), Younes Rahmoun: Here, Now is edited by Emma Chubb (SCMA) and Morad Montazami (ZBC) and designed by Montasser Drissi. It features contributions by Omar Berrada, Indigo Casais '23, Emma Chubb, Safaa Erruas, Hannah Feldman, Maud Houssais, Alexandra Keller (Smith College), Fatima-Zahra Lakrissa, Carlos Pérez Marín, Katarzyna Pieprzak, Frazer Ward (Smith College), Sandrine Wymann, and Lynne Yamamoto (Smith College).
Younes Rahmoun: Here, Now will be on exhibit at SCMA and Lyman Plant House (Smith College, Northampton, MA) and the MacLeish Field Station (Whately, MA) from August 30, 2024 to July 13, 2025.
